In a previous post I began the discussion on what I regard as the most powerful natural cure we can utilise. In this second part I expand upon the previous post and take the discussion to another level.
I would love to hear your feedback and comments.
In this sense every part is inter-dependant. This co-dependence gives rise to the so called butterfly effect. This is where it is theorised that one small change in one part of an interdependent system automatically brings about changes in the sum of the parts. Hence a butterfly flapping its wings in Borneo can create a winds disturbance that is accentuated by existing winds sufficient to tip it over the edge and bring on cyclonic weather conditions that cause massive weather changes in another part of the world causing a typhoon or tidal wave.
3. The physical energies referred to above have parallels in the world of thought. Everyone has the gift of free will, the ability to choose to think and do whatever we want. The choices we make, and which we act upon, bring about consequences that we have to endure. These consequences can be a good experience or a bad one. There is an extension to this theory that suggests that not only do we have the capacity to choose our actions but we also have the capacity to choose our reactions to the consequences. In other words we have continually changing capacities to choose how we feel and act in every instant of time.
The choices we have at our disposal are very powerful and basically determine our life patterns all the time. What I am leading up to is that we have the capacity to heal ourselves by harnessing this power within us. I will develop this in subsequent postings. If you want to be notified about these just post a comment or subscribe to the RSS feed of your choice.

It is possible to cure heart burn naturally or relieve the symptoms of heart burn. There are natural cures for heart burn that have been handed down from generation to generation. There are natural cures for heart burn originating from the native people of the Americas, Africa, Asia and Europe, as well. Practically everyone has experienced occasional heartburn. Chronic heartburn may be caused by how much or what foods a person chooses to eat, what he or she chooses to drink and other lifestyle issues, but it can also be a symptom of more serious medical conditions. If you watch what you eat, when you eat and what you drink, but you still experience heartburn once or more per week, you should have your symptoms evaluated by a physician.
In order to cure heart burn naturally, you may need to add a few items to your pantry. Fennel tea is one of the natural cures for heart burn. Fennel seeds are available at most grocery stores and can be ordered online from companies that sell herbs and other natural products. A tea is created by seeping one or two teaspoons of seeds in eight ounces of boiling water. Gingerroot and/or rhubarb may cure heart burn naturally. Chewing on a small piece of either may relieve the symptoms. Gingerroot is available at many grocery stores. Rhubarb grows wild, can be purchased (when in season) at some grocery stores and can be grown in your own garden. Rhubarb stalks reach maturity in early summer or late spring and can be frozen in chunks for later use. These natural cures for heart burn may neutralize the stomach acid that causes the burning sensation or saliva produced by the chewing action may neutralize the acid. Saliva in the mouth and throat naturally neutralizes stomach acid. Smoking, which dries out the mouth and throat may worsen or bring on symptoms of heart burn.
If you have an herb garden, be sure to include peppermint. You can cure heart burn naturally by chewing on the washed leaves or adding a pinch to your fennel tea. Peppermint oil is one of the well known cures for heart burn and indigestion. It is an ingredient in many over the counter products sold for relief of heartburn and gas. Other mints may work as well.
None of the previously mentioned natural cures for heart burn carry any risks unless you have allergies. If you have allergies, you should check with your allergist before using a natural product that you have not used before. Natural does not always mean safe. Some herbal remedies said to cure heart burn naturally may cause serious side effects and should be used with care and caution. Pregnant women should not use products that contain slippery elm and should always consult there doctor before using anything to treat heartburn that is not a common food product. Heartburn is fairly common during pregnancy because of the extra pressure on the stomach. Chewing on a chunk of rhubarb should help.

Prostatitis is an inflammation of the prostate gland usually caused by a migrant bacterial infection originating from another part of the anatomy. When this inflammation develops all of a sudden, it is called acute prostasis; when it builds up over time, it is called chronic prostatitis. Having prostatitis is very unpleasant and a man who has it lives a very unnatural and uncomfortable life - but having it is not the end of the world; there are cures to it. While traditional cures are present and varied, there is another school of thought that believes natural cures for prostatitis are even more effective.
Benign prostatitic hyperplasia, or BPH, is the nonmalignant enlargement of the prostate which often afflicts men whose age is over-60. This disease could often cause nocturia, the uncomfortable sensation that one has to wake up at night because he feels like he needs to go to the bathroom. This sensation may or not mean urinating normal volume of liquid - often, the volume is minimal and there is pain in the process.
Not only are these natural cures for prostatitis effective, the benefits are also more lasting. And, since these alternative treatment are herbal and, therefore, organic by nature, the debilitating side effects that are characteristic in most traditional medications are simply not there. Take saw palmetto, for example; the extract from this herb is widely popular for treating benign prostatic hyperplasia, or enlargement of the prostate gland. Oral ingestion of saw palmetto extract in small doses and on a regular basis inhibits the actions of testosterone on the prostate which is known to cause enlargement of the prostate interfering with the natural urinary flow.
Another one of these wonder natural cures for prostatitis is pygeum africanum, extracted from the sap of the evergreen African prune tree that grows in central and southern Africa. It is as popular, and has similar actions, as the saw palmetto extract in the treatment of BPH. Both of these famous extracts are also believed to be effective in curing other prostate-related problems like erectile dysfunction and impotence. These are also rumored to make good aphrodisiacs!
Saw palmetto and pygeum africanum are both used alternatively in the same pharmacologic sense, often in the same dosage, and both are recommended to be taken continuously to obtain the ultimate benefit, even after the infection has subsided. Other herbal extracts in the list of often-administered natural cures for prostatitis are Cernilton, extracted from rye pollen, and Bazoton herb extract. Benefits from ingestion of natural honey, ginseng extract and the pristine water from young coconuts are also among the popular natural cures for prostatitis. Of course, for overall wellness, these natural cures for prostatitis should always be coupled with physical exercises - a healthy body has natural resistance to diseases in its system.

Of all the natural cures you can find I think there is one that stays under the radar. I am talking about the most powerful natural cure we have at our disposal that could work not only as a natural cure for the many illnesses that plague our society, but that also serves as the best approach to how we live our everyday lives.
I am talking about a natural cure for health problems, to financial troubles, to mental health and to foster a new sense of well being in the world.
Now, this is not a crackpot natural cure recently discovered in the ancient hidden valleys or hilltops of a previously undiscovered exotic location. Nor is it an expensive new herb or natural cure product recently released by some new health product marketing company.
It is quite simply the ultimate natural cure. And it’s free.
It might surprise you to know that it’s been around for possibly the last few thousand years but has been forgotten and hence fallen into the category of impossible or impractical. Yet it works, and has done so for a few fortunate individuals who happily share their experiences. Although it is difficult to fully explain it in this short article, I will give you a few pointers to start you thinking. I will be pursuing further evidence and will reveal it to you as I go. You can follow the progress on my web site. Here is the basic outline:
1. There is an old, possibly ancient, belief that we are all interconnected. When you look at the make up of all matter at a subatomic level, there are particles flying in and out of the object being observed. In other words everything, including human bodies has a blurred edge. When two adjacent bodies are examined closely, for example, it could appear as one mass with two concentrated portions. At the extreme view, therefore, all bodies are part of one continuous mass.
2. When seen from this perspective you can draw the conclusion that, as human beings, we are all part of one larger ‘being’. This larger ‘being’ is a complicated and sophisticated arrangement of energy that interrelates, affects, and is affected by, all parts of it.
I am going to continue this post tomorrow so come back for the next instalment.
Sorry, I have to go out for a few hours and wanted to post this quickly.

Diabetes is a disease caused when the body does not properly produce insulin. Seven percent of the population in the United States has diabetes. There are two types of the disease. Type one diabetes is where the body does not produce insulin and type two is where the body resists insulin. The majority of people diagnosed with this disease have type two. Symptoms of diabetes include extreme thirst, hazy vision, excessive hunger, weight fluctuation, fatigue and frequent urination. Diabetes is often controlled with insulin and prescription drugs, but diet and exercise play a large part in the ability to control the disease. There are also herbs that can help reduce the effects of diabetes.
Ensure a healthy diet by concentrating on foods such as vegetables, grains, fiber and legumes. These foods will help regulate sugar in the blood stream. Avoid junk food and foods that contain sugar such as cakes, cookies and other sweets. Alcohol, tobacco and caffeine should also be avoided to maintain a nourishing diet.
Exercise helps promote good health and combats against the negative effects of diabetes. It is important to exercise regularly and keep an appropriate weight. People who are inactive or overweight have a higher risk factor for diabetes and are prone to suffer from more side effects caused by the disease. It is especially important to exercise to build muscle. Starting a weight program will increase muscle mass which will increase sensitivity to insulin.
There are many herbal remedies recognized for their therapeutic properties of treating diabetes. They are commonly found in pharmacies and grocery stores and can be a great natural remedy. Prickly pear cactus has shown positive results in the treatment of this disease and was recently recognized by the International Diabetes Center as a viable natural remedy. Bitter Melon has been used for years in Asia, Africa and South America for treatment. Garlic will reduce sugar levels and is a healthy way to add flavor to food while benefiting from its curative traits. Other common herbs are ginseng, psyllium, fenugreek, bilberry, dandelion and burdock.
Vitamin supplements are frequently used to help treat diabetes with the most commonly recommended ones being vitamins B6, C and E. Also, zinc, selenium, alpha lipoic acid, chromium and vanadium are commonly used. Rather than take individual supplements, some patients opt for a multivitamin to add to their diet.
Diabetes is a disease that affects a large portion of the population. The risks associated with it are serious but can be controlled with lifestyle change. Ensuring a well balanced diet and good exercise routine will help in preventing side effects. Also, proper use of herbs, vitamins and natural remedies will help prevent the necessity for more traditional means of medication.
